The Ariete range of armoured doors with glass starts from two models and adapts them to your architecture: the glass goes wherever you decide, the security stays everywhere.

The heart is the same as every Ariete door: double electro-galvanised steel sheet, square defender, patented European cylinder, aluminium threshold and outdoor weather sealing. On top of that, anti-shatter and anti-sledgehammer laminated glass, in more than 15 shapes.

A bright entrance, fully armoured: anti-shatter glass wherever you want it, in the centre, to the side or as a fanlight. Visible or concealed hinges, class RC3 or RC4.

Anti-shatter and anti-sledgehammer laminated glass: several sheets bonded by special films that withstand repeated blows of over 300 Joules, four times more than ordinary door glass. It can crack, but it stays in place and keeps on protecting.

The structure is the same as our RC3 and RC4 armoured doors: double steel sheet, square defender with chamfered corners, fixed anti-lever lips. And the laminated glass is anchored to the frame so that, even under blows, it cracks without opening: anyone outside only realises they’re wasting their time. Ariete anti-shatter glazed panels are laminated: sheets and films that absorb blows from a sledgehammer, axe and blunt objects, even repeated ones. The glass may get marked, but it stays whole and in place: the opening doesn’t give way.

Light and sealing travel together: Ariete doors with glass are built to stand outdoors, with three systems that close the door against water and air. When you turn the key, the leaf compresses onto the seals and the entrance is sealed.

Thermal threshold

Complete air and water seal along the floor line: driving rain stops right there.

Finishing trims

They close the gaps between frame and wall and complete the seal, around the whole perimeter.

Draught-excluder blade

Five air chambers under the leaf stop wind, dust and the thread of light from under the door.

The Ariete European cylinder has a patented profile with hundreds of thousands of combinations, and a single rule: we make the copies, only for the owner, after verification. Faced with your key, ironmongers and key-cutting shops can only hand it back to you.

The 5+1+1 system gives you five sealed owner keys and two emergency keys. If your bunch goes missing, you turn the first emergency key in the lock and all the old keys stop working instantly; the second covers the next unexpected event. Thirty seconds, with no technicians and no need to change the cylinder.

How much an armoured door with glass costs

Prices for armoured doors with anti-shatter glass start from 3,900 euros + VAT: the laminated glass is the most precious component of the door, and it shows. From there, the price moves on these levers.

Burglar resistance class

Class RC3 for occupied settings, class RC4 for more exposed homes: the armoured structure costs more as the class goes up, while the glass keeps the same resistance in both. Which one you need is something we work out together at the consultation.

Glass size and shape

A door with standard glazing costs less than one with an arched fanlight or full-height side glass. Bespoke shapes call for dedicated work on the glass and the frame.

Accessories

Digital viewer, fingerprint or smartphone opening, keypad: every accessory has a clear impact on the quote, and none of them is compulsory.

Type of glass and panels
