- It is not photosensitive and is unaffected by climatic stress;
- Highly resistant to scratches from pets and to abrasion, even in contact with metal tools.

- It is a waterproof material
- Eco-friendly: it has a reduced environmental impact and its production uses no chemical binders or resins
Cons
There are essentially three disadvantages:
- Limited in size: on armoured doors it is not possible to make a panel entirely from stoneware, as it has to be divided by a steel band so as not to exceed the size limits;
- Price: a stoneware panel costs more than other types of material (such as mineral composite or laminate).
- Given the particular characteristics of stoneware, it is not possible to fit a glass panel into the leaf.

Door panels with stoneware cladding: frequently asked questions
No, porcelain stoneware armoured doors are very easy to clean.
For everyday cleaning, we recommend using lukewarm water and, if needed, neutral cleaners (such as soap or surface cleaner), using a soft cloth and taking care to rinse thoroughly with water and dry the surface with soft cloths or kitchen paper.
To prevent a dull film from forming, we advise not using products containing wax and not using abrasive cleaners.
To remove particularly stubborn stains or residue from the surface of the porcelain stoneware panel, an initial clean with lukewarm water and a neutral cleaner is recommended.
If that is not enough, use more effective cleaning techniques with specific products, depending on the stain to be treated, such as:
– Non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaners.
– Slightly abrasive cleaners.
– Acidic cleaners (e.g. limescale remover) or alkaline ones (e.g. bleach).
– Solvent-based cleaners (e.g. acetone).
Then rinse with water and dry.
Use a wooden or plastic scraper to remove any dried-on residue such as chewing gum.
Then go over it with a neutral cleaner using sponges or soft cloths.
Where the surface is marked by ink or felt-tip pens, act promptly by cleaning the area with suitable cleaners such as: nitro thinner, trichloroethylene, white spirit or other solvent-based cleaners available on the market.
